For the girl that is remembered for singing “Purple Rain” on the X Factor the journey has truly been varied, winning song for Europe in Spain and performing her own song in the Eurovision – dancing in the rain.

Since finishing 5th place on the hit ITV show, Ruth Lorenzo signed a world wide record deal which has given her time to develop wisely her craft of song-writing.

She has written for artists such as Jeff Beck, Dannii Minogue, Kevin A Hart and collaborated with The Osmonds, as well as writing for some of the top pop artists in Spain, she has currently written a number 1 album for Spanish boy band Auryn in the Spanish territory. Ruth Lorenzo now feels ready to showcase her own material.
