I was delighted recently that Melissa agreed to be the guest speaker at my Women in Business event. ‘If at first you don’t succeed...’ Melissa delivered a speech that was immensely thought provoking due to her capacity to speak openly and honestly from the heart. Her ability to inspire others through her positive thinking and skills as a life coach allowed my guests to open up and spend some time considering their personal plans for future success.
Melissa was the star host of a live broadcast show for one of the largest IT organisations based in Berkshire. Melissa brought entertainment and personality throughout, with passion for the subject matter and truly engaged our viewers and guests on the show. Her charming ability to control a live show was executed with professionalism and charisma. The project was a fantastic success with Melissa’s live presence.
Melissa was worth her weight in gold at The Lowry’s fashion fundraiser. As our hostess for the black-tie dinner and fashion show, she added a touch of glamour as well as ensuring that the evening’s proceedings ran smoothly. Her effortless professionalism was good humoured and entertaining. The event would not have been such a great success without her.
Melissa was a dream to work with from start to finish. She was keen to research our Designer Awards event before the event, in order to understand more about the audience and consult on the script to include some personal touches to proceedings. On the day, Melissa was charming, funny and ultra-professional, happy to pose for photographs and get to know as many of our guests as possible. The feedback so far has been fantastic, with a number of guests saying that Melissa helped to make this year’s awards – our 11th – the most fun yet! I would recommend her for any awards event – she clearly enjoys doing them and it really shows.
Melissa’s contribution to the success of The Luxury Property Show at The Hurlingham Club cannot be overstated. Her presence on the exhibition floor, her engagement with clients and her utterly professional hosting of the seminar sessions throughout the two days of the event greatly enhanced the show experience for exhibitors and visitors alike. Melissa took a great amount of time to speak with so many of them made them all feel truly valued. As a result our show was a resounding success.
Melissa, you did a terrific job at our HOT BIRD TV Awards in Venice in November. We can't thank you enough. It was quite a challenge to host an international event assembling television executives from France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Russia and the UK, just to name some of the countries represented. You drove the event with verve and enthusiasm, making everyone who went on stage feel special, and contributing to giving all of us an evening to remember. Thank you once again and good luck for a continuing stellar career as an utterly professional presenter.
Melissa Porter is the most enthusiastic, energetic and hardworking presenter I have ever seen. She charmed the whole audience and made every award-winner feel they were the most important person of the night - even the bronze winner of a minor category walked away feeling on top of the world. Melissa worked the whole room effortlessly, stayed behind afterwards for numerous photos and nothing was too much trouble for her - she was just brilliant to work with. In all the years we have run awards events I've seen over 100 presenters and without question Melissa gave the most enthusiastic, high octane performance - I really don't know where she gets her energy from. Another reason I can't recommend her too highly is how easy she was to work with both before and during the event, her contributions were all constructive and worthwhile - she really helped make our awards extra special.
