As a two-time Premiership champion with more than 95 England caps, Joe Marler is one of the most recognisable faces in world rugby.
Having played his entire club career at Harlequins, winning two Premiership titles, the European Challenge Cup and making 204 appearances, Joe announced his retirement from professional rugby in November 2024.
A passionate and vocal advocate for mental health awareness, in 2021, Joe teamed up with Sky Sports for the documentary Big Boys Don’t Cry. The hour-long film follows Joe travelling across the UK to explore methods for managing mental wellbeing, with Joe opening up on his personal battle with depression and mental health struggles in the process.
Since 2020, Joe has also served as an ambassador for CALM.
Following the success of his podcast Joe Marler’s Things People Do, in 2025, Joe launched his new podcast, Joe Marler Will See You Now.
In the brand-new format, celebrity guests are invited into Joe’s ‘clinic’ for a psychological evaluation like no other, with guests including Tom Allen, Jason Fox and Stephen Fry.
Alongside his ever-increasing broadcasting work, Joe continues his role at England Rugby as Player Liaison Officer.
