Passionate about making brain science more accessible to the general public

Since completing his PhD in neuroscience in 2005, Dr Jack Lewis has been doing everything in his power to make brain science more accessible to the general public through TV, radio, books, podcasts and talks.
Jack has written several books, including the best-selling business book “Sort Your Brain Out”, and a collection of science stories from his Geek Chic Weird Science podcast by the name of “Mice Who Sing For Sex”
On screen Dr Jack Lewis has presented many science TV shows that have aired on the BBC, Discovery and Sky, plus The Secrets of the Brain available on Amazon Prime. As a brain expert he has appeared in a few documentaries (like the multi-award winning caution against screen overuse I Am Gen Z) and prime-time TV shows like Duck Quacks Don’t Echo, Ranganation and Big Brother.
As a corporate speaker he has given brain talks on decision making (helping Deloitte to add £100M to their bottom line), innovation, building resilience and improving cognitive abilities at AGMs and industry conferences for businesses and professional organisations across every sector.
The Neuroscience of Decision Making.
Once audiences understand how brains actually make decisions, and the various ways you can influence how a customer/client's brain perceives the associated rewards and uncertainties, it is so much easier to get them to reach the decision you want them to make. This talk is extremely popular with finance and sales teams.
Science of Innovation.
Evidence-based insights into strategies that genuinely boost creative problem solving and others that, while hugely popular, don’t actually work; like Brain Storming. This talk is often paired with a 30-min interactive session that runs delegates through a scientifically valid method of creative ideation that Jack calls: The Brain Shake – invaluable for creative firms.
Jack’s talks on Building Resilience and Technology on the Brain have always gone down extremely well with Education Sector audiences keen to do more to look after their own brains while under stress, as well as those of the young people in their care.
He also does bespoke talks on request.
Jack was brilliant! The feedback received so far from delegates has been fantastic. He was so easy to work with, very engaging and his content was so interesting – a real hit with everyone so please pass on our thanks.
I had the good fortune to work with Jack Lewis on a Honda Event last year. He was amazing and the audience loved him.
