Cam Whitnall is a wildlife presenter, photographer and Managing Director of The Big Cat Sanctuary, one of the UK’s leading conservation centres.
Cam also stars in CBBC’s One Zoo Three and OZT Goes Wild in Britain alongside his brothers, bringing zoo life and British wildlife to screens in a fresh, educational, and engaging way.
Living and working at his family’s sanctuary and zoo, The Big Cat Sanctuary and Hertfordshire Zoo, Cam uses his platform to inspire the next generation about conservation.
In 2024, as conflict raged in Ukraine, Cam spearheaded the ‘Big Cats in Crisis’ campaign, a daring operation to rescue five lions in the midst of the war. Navigating the complexities of a war zone and international logistics, Cam led a global appeal raising over £500k to fund the process.
Across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, he’s built a passionate audience of over 2 million, sharing behind-the-scenes access, wildlife content, photography and his conservation work around the world.
As an ambassador for Nature’s SAFE, SANCCOB, and Bear Grylls, and a Patron of Helping Rhinos, Cam regularly collaborates with global partners to protect endangered species. His mission is simple: to inspire, educate, and make a lasting difference for wildlife and the planet.
