Roisin Conaty

Roisin Conaty is an award-winning comedian, writer and actress, and one of the nation's most recognisable comic faces on stage and screen. She won the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer with her stand-up show Hero, Warrior, Fireman, Liar, a breakthrough that launched her into the national spotlight.

She's a regular face on the UK's biggest entertainment shows, including Have I Got News for You, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Jonathan Ross Show, QI, Would I Lie to You, Big Fat Quiz of the Year and The Last Leg, and was part of the original cast of Taskmaster.

Roisin wrote and starred in two acclaimed, award-winning series of her own scripted comedy GameFace, for Channel 4 and Hulu in the United States. She's also known for her role as Roxy in Ricky Gervais's multi-award-winning Netflix sitcom Afterlife, and starred alongside Greg Davies across four series of the much-loved Channel 4 sitcom Man Down.

Her screen credits also include Greta in the period drama Funny Woman for Sky, opposite Gemma Arterton, and a starring role in the UK series of Amazon Prime's international hit Last One Laughing.

Roisin has performed stand-up at major comedy festivals around the world, including Edinburgh, Montreal, Melbourne and Kilkenny, and has won multiple comedy awards for her live work.
