Larry Dean is an award-winning comedian, writer and actor.
He has thrice been nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Awards for his sellout, critically acclaimed solo stand up shows, and his stand up special Fandan, was released in 2023 and aired on Channel 4.
He has performed multiple tours across the UK and Ireland and has built a strong international fanbase with regular appearances at Melbourne International Comedy Festival, New Zealand Comedy Festival, Perth Fringeworld and Just For Laughs in Montreal.
He made his New York touring debut in 2023 with his show, Fudnut followed by his biggest tour to date, Dodger.
Larry’s broadcasting career has gone from strength to strength, with credits including: Royal Variety Performance 2024, two appearances on Live at the Apollo (once as host), Mock the Week, House of Games, Roast Battle, World’s Most Dangerous Roads, The Stand Up Sketch Show, The Comedy Roast for SU2C, and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.

Larry was great…from being low maintenance and humble to deal with around travel and green room arrangements (priceless for the event organiser) to judging the crowd well and engaging everyone from his first joke (not easy since we’re a very niche business area with a large number of quite reserved staff members).
From a value for money point of view, Larry was wonderful – compared to other ‘household names’ Larry more than held his own and drew a larger number of positive comments from staff over the days/weeks after the event.
Larry was great; everyone loved him and he was a delight to have around.
