The Ordinary Boys shot to fame in 2006 when lead singer Samuel Preston appeared on Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother. His appearance caused the sales of the band's albums to soar. Their single 'Boys Will Be Boys' went from 33 in the charts to 3 in just four weeks.

Singer, Preston, currently enjoys a successful career as a songwriter for artists including John Newman and Chloe Howl, and earned a number one with Heart Skips a Beat for Olly Murs. After reuniting with the James and Charlie from their critically acclaimed debut Over the Counter Culture they played a one-off, last-minute sweaty, sold-out show at ‘Birthdays' and subsequently went into Lighthouse95 with Rory Attwell who produced The Vaccines, Veronica Falls and Palma Violets to record ‘Awkward'.

The Ordinary Boys are available for private hire and corporate functions.
