Sally Gunnell OBE is the greatest female athlete this country has ever produced and the only woman in history to have ever concurrently held all four major championship gold medals - Olympic, World, Commonwealth and European as well as the World record.Following her retirement from Athletics in September 1997, Sally immediately entered the media arena working with the BBC and Channel 4. Today she is an integral member of the BBC Sport Broadcasting Team. As well as her work with their Athletics output, she has fronted their coverage of many of the UK's top road races including the Flora Light Women's Challenge and the Great North Run.In addition to sports broadcasting, Sally's versatility as a presenter has been shown through the highly acclaimed Channel 4 children's programme 'Peak Performance', and through three series' if ITV's peak time show Body Heat.Utilising her extensive experience as a world class athlete, Sally is one of today's leading spokeswomen on motivation and well-being. Her inspiring and engaging corporate speaking programme has earned outstanding testimonials from all audiences. In addition to this Sally has published a number of titles including the highly successful 'Be Your Best', based on her individual, non-threatening and realistic approach to health and fitness and general well being.An energetic mother to Finley, Luca and Marley, Sally still finds time to spearhead charity events such as Cancer Research UK's Race for Life and continues to fulfil her role as figurehead for the British Heart Foundation where she is involved in a number of their key initiatives. Sally's own passion to help get and keep children healthy and active is enhanced by her association leading children's nursery Tumble Tots. She acts as both a consultant and ambassador in their continued development as the leading organisation in children's activity groups.
