Welcome
to our Autumn newsletter
As
this enews 'drops' into your inbox and sifts its way
through the mail,
hopefully we'll have caught you at full-throttle arranging
your Christmas and New Year dinners, galas and balls.
It always feels somewhat bizarre arranging Christmas
parties so soon after the summer holidays, yet, as every
year proves, the next 6 to 8 weeks will fly-by and we'll
soon be munching through our third Christmas turkey dinner
and deciding whether to watch The Wizard of Oz, Chitty
Chitty Bang Bang or The Sound of Music... again!
Next issue we'll be revamping the newsletter with slightly
fresher look - I look forward to your comments. This
month however, three fantastic guys for you; the infamous
Barings trader Nick
Leeson, cartoon-like illusionist Loki and
the hugely popular, and recently seen on Jack Dee's show, Omid
Djalili.
Until
next time,

Neil Martin

Infamous
Futures Trader
The
collapse of Barings, and Nick Leeson's role in it, is
one of the most spectacular debacles in modern financial
history. How could one trader bring down the banking
empire that had funded the Napoleonic Wars?
Nick provides a fascinating insight into the continuing
failures of senior and middle management at large corporations
who still fail to protect shareholders and customers.

A
Magical Gothic Fairytale
Beautifully produced and
presented, Loki's performance is fast paced and bright with
props and stage furniture that are almost
surreal in their design.
He works silently in classic mime
to specially arranged orchestral music which gives his performance
complete international appeal. The brilliant quirkiness that
is themed throughout the show treats his audiences to something
quite unique and entertainingly different.
