Adrian Chiles

One of the most versatile presenters in the UK, Adrian Chiles has been a prominent figure on television and radio for over 20 years, currently presenting Chiles on Friday on BBC Radio 5, in addition to Question Time Extra Time on the same station.

Adrian co-presented TV’s Daybreak with his long-time on-screen partner Christine Bleakley in 2010 and 2011. He launched BBC One’s The One Show, Match of the Day 2 on BBC Two, The Apprentice: You’re Fired, also on BBC Two and Working Lunch (BBC Two).

Adrian has hosted a wide range of documentaries for the BBC including two-part documentary series for BBC Two entitled My Mediterranean with Adrian Chiles, exploring the various religious festivals and customs in the region, a Panorama special investigating the reasons Britain voted to leave the European Union (BBC One), Whites vs Blacks: How Football Changes a Nation (BBC Two) and Drinkers Like Me (BBC Two).

Between 2010 and 2015 Adrian Chiles fronted ITV’s football coverage, including the Champions League, Euros, two World Cups and England internationals. During this time he also presented three series of his successful That Sunday Night Show, also for ITV1.

Adrian has previously presented the Friday edition of 5 Live’s drive-time show, BBc Radio 4’s Financial World Tonight, Wake up to Money (BBC Radio 5 Live), and 6-0-6 (BBC Radio 5 Live). His work continues to receive great recognition, with his radio show Chiles on Saturday for BBC Radio 5 Live winning a Sony Radio Academy Gold Award in 2002.
